In May 1998, in the City of Montreal, Canada, Under the order of The Spirit of GOD given to Pastor Edgar Valenzuela , along with his wife Sandra Peña , was founded The Potters House Christian Church. Its main objective was to continue expanding Gospel in this city. Five brothers in Christ began meeting in a home, after several weeks of constant prayer and making their worship from a house. Unanimously all with the courage and authority to believe in The Voice of GOD, decided first to share with a French speaking church, for about 3 months. Fasting and praying, they asked God for a rental space, to have more freedom to continue doing the work. GOD not only answered their prayers, but he also blessed them with a church at Saint Laurent Avenue Montreal, where they were blessed to call home for ten years. In those ten years the Valenzuela's worked secular jobs to finance this small congregation. Throughout all this time the congregation received so many blessings. And with the vision given to Pastor Valenzuela, the church started to grow spiritually and in numbers, In 2007 The Potter's House received the hand of membership into the Eastern Association at Humbervale Park Baptist Church in Toronto. In 2009 the lord led our pastor Edgar to form an aggressive plan of outreach including a 250 person seating capacity church building with an Eastern Association gift mortgage and a CEIF loan, The Potter's house purchased the property and held their first worship services on September 12-13 2009. The Potters House Christian Church is a missionary church. We help churches from other countries: In Guatemala we help three churches,

We had open a second church located in the City of Gatineau Quebec  ministering the word of God is our mision, we believe that the gospel is for all those who want it to dwell within their heart.

Pastor Edgar A. Valenzuela left his homeland of Guatemala in 1987. He gave his life to JESUS at a very young age. He has been in the ministry from that point on. Thanks to a dedicated group of brothers, willing to give their all for the work of God. Believing in the vision that God had given to his servant, brothers motivated by the love of God, will be continue to help the needy. We're glad you're here and we hope you find information that is helpful, inspirational, and leads you to a closer relationship with God.
